Behind the scenes of a physical chirkut

A physical chirkut looks simple from the outside — pick an envelope, write a message (or don't), pay, done. But there are a few steps in between worth knowing about, especially if you're wondering whether it's really anonymous.

1. Your order never carries your name onto the envelope

When you check "Send anonymously," your name and contact details are still collected — we need them for delivery logistics and in case something goes wrong — but none of it is written on the envelope or told to the recipient. The handwriting, the return address, all of it stays blank or generic.

2. A real person writes it

Every handwritten chirkut is exactly that — handwritten, by someone on our small delivery team, using your exact words. We don't print your message in a font pretending to be handwriting. If you choose "leave blank," the envelope goes out exactly as it says: blank, for the recipient to interpret however they want.

3. Our team gets notified instantly

The moment an order comes in, it lands in an internal Telegram channel with the order details, so the team can start preparing it same day. You'll see order status updates (Pending → Confirmed → Processing → Delivered) reflected in your dashboard as we go.

4. Delivery is anonymous end to end

The courier doesn't know what's inside, the recipient doesn't get a name, and the envelope itself is the only thing that shows up. That's the whole point — an honest message, with nothing else attached to it.
